The Lands Of Amalhe

-Pack Alliance Information-

The east is still refusing to make an alliance with the rest of the packs and because of a mating between the west and the north, they are stronger as an alliance then with the south. Something is brewing, though, between the east and west. Could loyalties be tested?

-Caribou Update-

Winter is just over the horizon and the caribou are returning to their feeding grounds for the winter. The wolves of the arctic are used to the depletion of the Caribou but this winter is worst than the last. Can the wolves of Amlahe survive the bitter temperatures and scarce foor?

-Weather/Season-

The worst winter of centuries is on the horizon and the caribou are near but gone. The ground is frozen and small animals have already gone below ground. The air has seemed to come to a stand still has it waits for the storm. The wolves of Amalhe are skiddish. They can sense the storm and it's only a matter of time till it hits and maybe kills animals of all shapes and sizes in the process. Can the wolves join forces to survive?

The North
	Frozen Tundra Flat...cold....desolate... The Frozen Tundra is exactly why it was named. These are the prime hunting grounds of Amalhe. A wolf can hear and see for miles where as the caribou that trudge its miles cannot possibly fathom the danger they are in. Every year, the caribou migrate threw here and every year the wolves feast. Here, the Alphas are more then willing to allow all packs in to get food before chasing them out again. The winters here are brutal, the pack boundries miles apart and the terrain....exquisive. Wolves that live here are only here for the beauty of the tundra and the feast it offers. 	No Man's Land This is the spot every year where every wolf, from each of the four packs, can cross the boundries and attack the caribou that are stampeding through here. It's a peaceful place and no wolf can own it. Once the caribou are headed east again, you take your kills and leave. No fights are to be taken place and no communication. Take your kills and leave... The East
	Death Valley To the east of Frozen Tundra lies the end of the caribou run. A sheer cliff rises from the tundra coated in ice. The caribou end here, with no where else to go. The wolves that live here live in dens and caves in the vast cliff and at night, they take advantage of the caribou's confusion. Of course, like every year, the caribou find a way around and they leave behind the bones and corpes of their followers. Hence, this place was given the name Death Valley. The West
	Caribou Run The open field where the caribou come from every year and go to every year. If this wasn't prime hunting grounds, what wouldn't be. Encouraged by being so close to their breeding grounds, the caribou explode through this field with energy. This is when the caribou are dangerous. Flying hooves and running bodies and can a wolf instantly. The wolves here are fast and swift. Able to move amoung the caribou without being trampled. The wolves here are also very cunning. They can execute a perfect plan to bring down a caribou from the center of the running herd. Not many wolves get accepted to this pack. You have to work in this pack. Work or die... 	The Village Close to the caribou run is the village. The live where the ocean opens so they can fish and hunt seals. They also compeat with the wolves for the caribou. Watch out though. Some humans like the taste of wolf and love the feel of their hides. You have to be willing to fight for your life, literally. The wolves here live in the hills behind the village, sharing caribou with the Caribou Run pack and getting scraps from the village. Some of the wolves here are part dog. The South
	Blizzard Forest To the south of the tundra is Blizzard Forest. It's a full pine forest that has at least three feet of snow year round. Many of the wolves living here are expert runners, able to run through this thick snow with ease, chasing elk and snow shoe hares. The dens are packed down places in the snow usually beneath towering pines and the pups don't leave this area till they are much older. It's a perfect place to place hide-and-seek and it's also a very dangerous place because behind one of these towering pines may just be a panther, waiting to carry a wolf off for it's cubs... 	Icy Falls In the middle of Blizzard Forest, lies a single waterfall, it's waters gushing over the side at top speeds all year long. But the spray in the dead of winter causes giant icicles to form in front of the water, blocking off the water and sound but not stopping the flow. Behind this beautiful ice sculpture of water is a watery cave that holds the pack of Icy Falls. It's also in the dead center of Blizzard Forest and is near impossible to find.
